  • The « Teenagers Home » consists in a new kind of medical building, including both medical or psychiatric functions, and information or dialogue functions. This will, to create another relationship with care, is transposed in the building by an intricate composition of the facades, alternating reflections and transparencies, according to the different aims of the building. If the glass, coloured by a special film inside it, strongly emphasizes the construction on the Entry hall, located “boulevard de Port-Royal”, other facades bears a double-skin with semi reflecting glass louvers, like two-way mirrors, in order to preserve the intimacy inside, during the day. The frame work is made of stainless steel blades hanged for giving its slimness (thickness 2cm for a height until 12m) .
